My Bio
I am a university student studying ancient history and archaeology. I've been drawing since I was a kid, though it was in my teens that I started drawing for therapeutic purposes. I work mostly with pencil, and occasionally charcoal and very rarely I paint. I have kept my drawings private, though from a request from a friend I am sharing my art.

Emptiness

She is empty, nothing is her own.
She is a shell programmed by society,
Everything she is and everything she feels is given to her by poets and players.
Music, film and television dictate what she feels, without them she is just an empty shell.
Void of any feelings
Taking her cues from fiction, the words of today’s poets bring the emotions for her to feel.
The players show her how to react to what the poets give her.
At the end of the day the poets and players take back what they gave her.
An empty shell again
She waits to be reprogrammed
Wondering what the poets and players will give her next.
Emptiness is all she knows.
